

The $150,000 Maryland Million Classic Stakes Oct. 14 at Laurel Park will showcase a field of eight 3-year-olds and up competing over 1 1/8 miles on the main track.
Built Wright Stables' 2022 Kelso Handicap (G2) winner Double Crown comes into Saturday's race off a 4 1/2-length victory in the 1 1/16-mile Polynesian Stakes Sept. 10 with trainer Raymond Ginter. Fellow competitor and stakes winner Ournationonparade finished fifth for trainer Jamie Ness in the Polynesian. Runnymoore Racing's Loose Ends also comes in off an allowance optional claimer win Aug. 5 at Delaware Park over one mile.
Runners in starting position include: Alphabet Soup Handicap third-place finisher Market Maven ; Double Crown; Dolice Vita for trainer Phillip Capuano; Ournationonparade; David Gruskos' Rhumjar ; All Threes for Kathleen Willier; three-time stakes-placed Ain't Da Beer Cold , and Loose Ends.
