Tabeguache wins St. Louis Derby at Fanduel Sportsbook and Horse Racing

Kaleem Shah's multiple grade 1-placed Bellamore  seeks her first stakes victory in the Nov. 3 $150,000 Turnback the Alarm Stakes, a nine-furlong test for fillies and mares 3 years old and upward, at Aqueduct Racetrack.

The 5-year-old daughter of Empire Maker, by the Smart Strike mare Smart N Soft, is likely to challenge for favoritism after finishing third in the Spinster Stakes (G1) at Keeneland Oct. 8 when making her first start for trainer Carlos Santamaria.

It is the last chance for this consistent gal to add a long-awaited stakes victory to her resume as she's slated to be cataloged as Hip 211 at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale Nov. 7.

Other contenders in this short field of five include the Brad Cox-trained multiple graded stakes-winning Interstatedaydream  and the KimDon Racing Todd Pletcher-trained Tizzy in the Sky , an impressive 9 3/4-length allowance optional claiming winner Oct. 4 at the Belmont at the Big A meet.

Multiple graded stakes placed  Morning Matcha  and Juddmonte's gray Arrogate filly Fireline  round out the field.

In race 9, Jeff Drown's Tabeguache  returns to the Big A sporting a three-race win streak and looking for a second straight stakes score when taking on five other sophomores in the 79th running of the $150,000 Discovery, also to be run at nine furlongs.

The Brad Cox-trained Into Mischief   colt enters Friday's showdown off a solid win in the St. Louis Derby Aug. 26 at Fan Duel Sportsbook and Horse Racing.

Bred in Kentucky by Kindred Stables, Tabeguache is out of the More Than Ready mare More Mojo.

Todd Pletcher sends out Repole Stable and St. Elias Stable's Crupi  in an attempt at his first stakes triumph. The son of Curlin   comes off a horrific trip in the Pennsylvania Derby (G1) at Parx Racing Sept. 23 when finishing fifth. He was squeezed at the start and steadied in deep stretch when making an eye-catching closing move over the sloppy going.
