A lovely morning in Southern California at Santa Anita Park for Breeders' Cup Saturday. Fast and firm conditions with sunshine, high clouds and warm temperatures in the low 80s are expected during the afternoon.

Most scratches reported this morning were announced previously, with one new withdrawal being A Mo Reay from the Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1). Daily Racing Form's David Grening tweeted on X that A Mo Reay is soon headed to Japan for a broodmare career.
There have been numerous trainer and veterinary scratches at this year's Breeders' Cup amid close veterinary scrutiny meant to reduce racing injuries.
In one rider change, Beer Can Man will have Juan Hernandez in the saddle in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T).
