The Eclipse Award winner for top male sprinter of 2022 is poised to become a two-time champion after a season that also included wins in the Riyadh Dirt Sprint (G3) worth $1.5 million, the True North (G2), and the Alfred G. Vanderbilt (G1).

Elite Power sat off the early pace before ranging up around the turn with little effort and then exploding past the leaders when Irad Ortiz Jr. called on him, taking the lead at the eighth-pole and drawing off to win by about two lengths in 1:08.34 for the six furlongs.
Gunite was second, with Nakatomi third.
