The Medaglia d'Oro filly consigned as Hip 822 in the ring at the F-T Kentucky October Yearlings Sale
"She's lovely—I really liked her, and she looks like she has a little speed, which I like for the Medaglia d'Oro's," April Mayberry said. "She's put together really well and is a late foal, so I think she has a lot of good things to do moving forward."
The $380,000 purchase for Lee Searing's CRK Stable will be destined for West Coast trainer John Shirreffs.
Paramount Sales consigned the Medaglia d'Oro filly as Hip 822, the Peter E. Blum Thoroughbreds, and Godolphin bred out of Magical . The Tapit mare won the She's All In Stakes and is sibling to multiple stakes winner Exulting and grade 1 placed Occult .
The page boasts Barbara Fritchie Handicap (G2) winner and grade 1 placed Magical Feeling as the second dam.
During Day 2, Mayberry purchased a $150,000 Uncle Mo filly out of grade 3 stakes placed Laseen from the Taylor Made Sales Agency for Searing.
"I love this sale; it's one of those sales you just have to work through," commented Mayberry. "Horses are there; it's a lot of ground to cover, but if you work it, you can find them."
