The D. Wayne Lukas trainee, a $500,000 yearling purchase by owners John Bellinger and Brian Coelho of BC Stables, ran 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.91 under Joel Rosario. He won by 2 1/2 lengths, returning $27.08 to win.

Later in the card, heavily favored Youalmosthadme prevailed by three-quarters of a length over Halina's Forte in the $215,000 Fern Creek Stakes.
The 2-year-old daughter of Oxbow , who had scored her previous three victories in frontrunning fashion, showed a new dimension in the Fern Creek with a bold late run up the fence under jockey Tyler Gaffalione.
Campaigned by Qatar Racing, Swinbank Stables, Steve Adkisson, and Black Type Thoroughbreds, Youalmosthadme was exiting a seven-length romp in the Myrtlewood Stakes at Keeneland. The Brad Cox trainee had captured the Kentucky Juvenile Stakes in May.
Youalmosthadme ($3.56) ran the six furlongs in a final time of 1:10.67.
