A nomination to Paddington  is set to be auctioned Monday, Dec. 4, on the opening day of Tattersalls' December Mares Sale just before the first lot —Lot 1527—in the sale company's select Sceptre Session. The sale will raise funds for jockey Graham Lee who sustained serious neck and spinal injuries in a fall at Newcastle earlier this month, Coolmore Stud announced Nov. 22.

"Our partners Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith, George Von Opel, and Peter Brant along with everyone here at Coolmore and Ballydoyle wish Graham and his family all the very best," said Coolmore's M. V. Magnier.

Paddington, a 3-year-old son of Siyouni , won four straight group 1 races in 68 days last summer and will stand his first season at Coolmore at a fee of €55,000.

Bred by Dayton Investments, Paddington won his second start at 2 with trainer Aidan O'Brien. His 3-year-old campaign started with six consecutive wins, including victories in the Irish Two Thousand Guineas (G1), St Jamess Palace Stakes (G1), Coral Eclipse Stakes (G1), and Sussex Stakes (G1).

Paddington is out of the Montjeu  stakes winner Modern Eagle , who is also the dam of group-placed winner Masterpiece .
