Grade 1 winner and third-year sire Hog Creek Hustle   has been relocated to War Horse Place for the 2024 breeding season, the farm announced Dec. 1. He will stand for $5,000.

The 7-year-old son of Overanalyze was bred in Kentucky by Hargus and Sandra Sexton and Silver Fern Farm, which sold him for $150,000 at the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling Sale to Stewart Smith. The colt would race for Something Special Racing, a partnership of Smith, Beth Martin, Rex McClanahan, and Patty Tipton.

Hog Creek Hustle won at first asking with trainer Vickie Foley and then ended his juvenile campaign with a third in the Sugar Bowl Stakes at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots. At 3, he was first or second in four graded stakes, which included winning the Woody Stephens Stakes (G1) and being runner-up in the H. Allen Jerkens Stakes (G1). He was retired at 5 with a 4-7-2 record from 24 starts and earnings of $774,546.

The Sextons and Silver Fern bred Hog Creek Hustle out of the Candy Ride   mare Candy Fortune, who also has produced grade 3 winner Majestic Dunhill  (Majesticperfection). Candy Fortune is out of multiple graded-placed stakes winner Ready for Fortune (More Than Ready), who is out of stakes winner Fortunate Card.

Breeders are encouraged to call (859) 519-5175 to schedule an inspection.
