Triple Crown champion American Pharoah got a day of rest June 14 after parading in front of nearly 30,000 fans over Churchill Downs' main track June 13.
"He just walked this morning," said Jimmy Barnes, assistant to trainer Bob Baffert. "He got a day off today. It was a long night for him and there's nothing pressing right now."

Barnes said that the Zayat Stables' homebred son of Pioneerof the Nile will resume galloping June 15 and continue to do so through June 17, before returning to Baffert's base at Santa Anita Park June 18.
