Parx canceled all three race days last week after it experienced winter weather and low temperatures Jan. 15-17.
According to track announcer Jessica Paquette on X, the track will open late for training Jan. 22 as the weather warms up. She hopes this is an indication that the track will be ready to go for Parx's 10-race card Jan. 23, with a current expected high temperature in the low 40s.
It was cold cold here this morning, mid teens. Warming up now so hopefully we are good to go tomorrow. Track is opening late this morning for training so fingers crossed.
