Citing a threat of rain, Santa Anita Park canceled racing Feb. 19. The track had planned to offer a holiday program on President's Day.

Monday's card was never drawn after being delayed from its original Feb. 16 date of entries and a post-position draw.

Nine-race programs Feb. 17-18 will go ahead as scheduled.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a threat of rain in Arcadia, Calif., where Santa Anita is located, beginning Sunday evening and continuing through the day on Monday, with the potential to drop as much as a half inch of precipitation by late Monday afternoon. Los Angeles County is under a flood watch from Sunday through Feb. 21, with other areas of Southern California likely to receive even heavier rainfall.

California racetracks operate under tight restrictions during periods of inclement weather.
