Cheyenne Sables' multiple stakes winner Ozara  and Repole Stable's grade 3 winner Life's an Audible  look to square off again in the $200,000 Herecomesthebride Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park March 2. The mile turf race for 3-year-old fillies drew a field of 11. The top two finishers from the Jan. 6 Ginger Brew Stakes, won by Ozara by 2 1/4 lengths, look like deserving favorites.

European import Ozara is trained by Christophe Clement. Mike Ryan, agent, purchased the Lope de Vega  filly for $416,346 out of book 1 of the 2022 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.

Ozara's dam is the winning Acclamation (GB) mare Cercle d'Or , a half sister to 2015 European Horse of the Year Golden Horn , who won the Investec Derby (G1), Coral Eclipse (G1), Irish Champion Stakes (G1), and Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) in a 3-year-old campaign for the ages.

Ozara has not raced since the Ginger Brew, but Life's an Audible returned Feb. 3 and won the Sweetest Chant Stakes (G3) by a neck. The Todd Pletcher trainee is from the first crop of Into Mischief  's grade 1-winning son Audible  .

4G Racing's Crown Imperial  will be making her 3-year-old debut for trainer John Ortiz. The Classic Empire  filly most recently finished third in the Jessamine Stakes (G2) at Keeneland Oct. 6. Never off the board in six starts —five of them stakes — Crown Imperial won the $500,000 Untapable Stakes at Kentucky Downs Sept. 13.
