Hagyard Equine is Breeders' Cup Partner

The Breeders' Cup announced that Hagyard Equine Medical Institute is an official partner of the Breeders' Cup World Championships in the equine first response unit category.



The 32nd Breeders' Cup, consisting of 13 grade I races and $26 million in purses and awards, will be held Oct. 30-31 at Keeneland in Lexington.



As part of the agreement, Hagyard will provide and administer the equine trauma unit ambulance on-site during Breeders' Cup morning workouts Monday, Oct. 26-Saturday, Oct. 31, and will provide the ambulance and equine trauma unit Thursday, Oct. 29 and both Breeders' Cup World Championship days. Hagyard will also administer all blood sampling and temperature readings of all international World Championships participants.



In addition, Hagyard will be the name-in-title of the shuttle service that will provide transportation from the Breeders' Cup stable area on Rice Road to the front side racetrack locations of the Keeneland racing office and Breeders' Cup Trackside Breakfast Marquee.
