Group 3-placed stakes winner Fun With Flags , who is entered in the June 16 Prix de Diane (G1) (French Oaks) at Chantilly, will be sold at an Arqana pop-up sale June 10.
The sale is scheduled from 4-5 p.m. local time (3-4 p.m. BST), with registration open at arqanaonline.com.
The Irish-bred daughter of Zoffany was a winner at 2 and has struck in three of her four starts for owner Erika Gilliar and trainer Jerome Reynier, including the listed Prix Rose de Mai at Saint-Cloud in March. She finished second in the Prix Cleopatre (G3) at the same track in April. She won her career debut at 2 going 1,700 meters (about 1 1/16 miles).
A graduate of the Goffs Orby and Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale, she is out of the Galileo mare Marie Celeste, a sister to listed stakes winner and black-type producer Gemstone. Marie Celeste is also related to group 1-placed Ursa Minor and hails from the family of Irish Two Thousand Guineas (G1) winner Bachelor Duke and Irish St Leger (G1) scorer Sonnyboyliston.
Her current owner went to the equivalent of $66,496 to purchase Fun With Flags at the latter mentioned 2023 Tattersalls sale, where she was consigned by Kingsfield Stud, agent.
