Lake Abanakee breaks her maiden at Aqueduct Racetrack
Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 17 supplemental entries to its upcoming July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale.
These latest entries are cataloged as hips 501-517 and may now be viewed online. These newest entries include:
- Lake Abanakee (Hip 503): This 3-year-old New York-bred and New York-sired filly is undefeated in two starts this year in state-bred maiden special weight and allowance company. Consigned by ELiTE, agent, she is a full sibling to New York-bred stakes performer Gimmedamoney .
- Tigerish (Hip 509): This 2-year-old daughter of first-crop stallion Tiz the Law won her debut June 27 at Horseshoe Indianapolis. She is a half sister to grade 1 winner Avenge , graded stakes winner Liguria , and multiple stakes winner and stakes producer Lira . Consigned by Hunter Valley Farm, agent.
- Just a Care (Hip 517): This 4-year-old stakes-placed daughter of Australia hails from the family of leading European first-crop sire Sergei Prokofiev . Consigned by St George Sales, agent, she was runner-up in the 2023 Melody of Colors Stakes at Gulfstream Park and has a bankroll of $117,390.
The July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale will take place this coming Monday, July 8, beginning at 3 p.m. ET. On the following day—Tuesday, July 9—Fasig-Tipton will conduct The July Sale of Selected Yearlings beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
