Arqana Online will hold a pop-up Sale July 12 that will offer a share in the Aga Khan Stud stallion Zarak . Bidding will take place between 5-6 p.m. local time, with registration for bidding already open on www.arqanaonline.com.
A leading stallion in Europe by number of black-type winners, Zarak has a percentage of 66% winners and 11% stakes winners to runners, across all generations.
His first corps have notably produced three group 1 winners including Metropolitan , winner of the French Two Thousand Guineas (G1), as well as Haya Zark and Zagrey , who won the Prix Ganay (G1) and the Grosser Preis von Baden (G1), respectively.
Son of the excellent Dubawi out of the exceptional Zarkava , the Aga Khan Studs stallion won the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (G1). Last year his yearlings sold for up to €420,000.
The share gives the right to one covering per year plus an additional covering every odd-numbered year, meaning two coverings in 2025 followed by one covering in 2026, and so on.
