Inclement weather brought by Hurricane Beryl canceled the seven-race Louisiana Downs card July 8. The news was first reported on FanDuel TV, which also reported that the track had lost power.
Louisiana Downs' Roxanne Turner confirmed the cancellation on social media.
Racing is set to resume at the Bossier City track July 9 with a seven-race card that begins 5:05 p.m. ET.
