Inglis Digital USA will offer the high-potential maiden Helicity  in a flash sale, closing Aug. 6 at noon EST.

The 2-year-old colt by The Factor   enters the flash sale off a runner-up effort in a July 20 maiden special weight at Saratoga Race Course, his second career start, where he led into the stretch of the 1 1/16-mile race on the inner turf, before finishing second.

"Helicity ran an impressive race with a second-place finish at Saratoga, showcasing his potential for future races at Kentucky Downs or the end of the Saratoga meet and maintaining all of his conditions," said Inglis Digital USA CEO Liza Hendriks. "The flash sale and digital sale concept is great for connections who want to capitalize on timely results throughout the year and provides liquidity to the market through increased trading opportunities."

The winning bidder will have a chance to quickly recoup on their investment, with trainer Jack Sisterson pointing Helicity toward the lucrative Kentucky Downs meet for his next start.

Helicity could target the the $1 million Kentucky Downs Juvenile Sprint Sept. 1 or the $1 million Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile Sept. 8. He could also enter a maiden special weight at the track, which boasts the largest maiden purses in the country at $170,000.

Sisterson trains and co-owns Helicity with David Grund and Amanda Oster.

"He's a horse that's impressed us from the day we bought him at the sale," Sisterson said. "Great mind, athletic, with lots of scope for the future. We thought he'd win his last race at Saratoga, but only to be beaten by a highly regarded colt trained by Cherie DeVaux. His maiden race was two seconds faster than the second 1 1/16-mile turf maiden ran the following week."

Helicity is currently stabled at Saratoga Race Course in barn 84, and he will breeze on the Oklahoma Training Track Aug. 3 at 7:30 a.m. weather permitting for potential buyers to watch. The colt's breeze schedule will be updated on the Inglis Digital USA X account, or reach out to Liza Hendriks for more information at liza@inglisdigitalusa.com.

Bred in Kentucky by Nova Stables, Helicity is the first foal to race out of the winning Sky Mesa mare Chasing Helicity . His third dam is grade 1 winner Sis City, and his extended family also includes grade 2 winners Swamp and Lady Grace , along with grade 3 winner Second City .

Bidding is currently open for Helicity on the Inglis Digital USA website; to learn more about Helicity and register to bid, visit www.inglisdigitalusa.com.
