The Midsummer Flash Sale on Fasig-Tipton Digital ended Aug. 1 with a 100% clearance rate as both offerings in the boutique two-entry sale sold for gross sales of $830,000.

Emmanuel  (Hip 1), a multiple graded stakes-winning son of More Than Ready, sold for $500,000 to trainer Michael Maker.  The 5-year-old racing/stallion prospect is a five-time graded stakes winner on turf of nearly $750,000, who also finished third in the 2022 Blue Grass Stakes (G1) on dirt at 3. Emmanuel entered the sale off a fourth-place finish in the United Nations Stakes (G2T) where he had posted the highest Ragozin and Thoro-Graph figures in the race. He was consigned by WinStar Farm, agent, and was stabled at Saratoga Race Course

"We are very pleased with Emmanuel's sale on Fasig-Tipton Digital," said Elliott Walden, president, CEO, and racing manager of WinStar Farm. "The sales process was seamless, and our horse was well marketed and promoted to a diverse group of buyers. We're thrilled with the price and happy he is going to a top barn in trainer Michael Maker."

Ten minutes later, a 33% ownership interest in Iscreamuscream  (Hip 2) was hammered down for $330,000 to Agave Racing Stable. The undefeated 3-year-old daughter of Twirling Candy   captured the San Clemente Handicap (G2T) in her most recent start July 20 and is pointing for the Del Mar Oaks (G1T) next. Taylor Made Sales Agency consigned the ownership stake in Iscreamuscream, who is based at Del Mar

"This sale was a homerun for our racing syndicate," said Billy Koch of co-owner Little Red Feather Racing. "Having an outlet like Fasig-Tipton Digital to sell ownership interests in our horses opens a whole new world of opportunity for us. We're absolutely thrilled to be partnering again with Mark Martinez and Agave Racing as we chase bigger prizes with Iscreamuscream. Hopefully, we will have another grade 1 winner like Fault!"
