Tropical Storm Debby Causes Racing Cancellations

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races canceled its Aug. 8 card as a result of the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby moving through the area and both Delaware Park and Laurel Park canceled racing Aug. 9
A decision on the status of the Aug. 9 card at Charles Town will be made Friday morning.
These and other recent cancellations can be found on the Equibase website.
Charles Town, Delaware Park, and Laurel Park join Colonial Downs as tracks that canceled racing this week due to the tropical storm. Colonial has postponed several cards, including its Festival of Racing featuring the Arlington Million (G1T), which was moved from Aug. 10 to Aug. 11.
