With a start against the boys looming in the $1.25 million Travers Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course Aug. 24, top 3-year-old filly Thorpedo Anna has surged to the head of the pack in the National Thoroughbred Racing Association's Top Thoroughbred Poll.
In a quiet week for new additions to the leaderboard voted on by national media, the Top 10 still saw a shakeup in favor of the 3-year-olds.
The daughter of Fast Anna received nine first-place votes, two less than Senor Buscador , but received a total of 219 points, 24 more than the Saudi Cup (G1) winner.
Thorpedo Anna was bred in Kentucky by Judy Hicks, who co-owns the filly with Nader Alaali, Mark Edwards, and Sherri McPeek's Magdalena Racing, and is a perfect 4-for-4 this season while earning $1,790,050. Trained by Kenny McPeek, the three-time grade 1 winner is expected to perform her final workout in company on Saratoga's main track either Aug. 16 or 17.

Belmont Stakes (G1) and Haskell Stakes (G1) winner Dornoch also saw his stock risk, elevating to fourth on the rankings from his seventh-place result last week.
2023 champion 2-year-old male Fierceness joined the top 10 in the final spot after ranking 14th in the follow-up to his July 27 Jim Dandy Stakes (G2) win.
Both Dornoch and Fierceness are currently pointed to the Travers.
