Lu's Time breaks her maiden at Prairie Meadows

Lu's Time  held on by a nose to break her maiden in the ninth race at Prairie Meadows Aug. 25 to become the first winner for freshman sire Timeline .

Bred in Iowa by Jashua Robinson, the bay filly became the fifth winner out of his Gone West mare Beautiful Lu , who was bred in Kentucky by Marathon Farms. Lu's Time was ridden to victory by Alberto Pusac for trainer Timothy Martin, who owns the filly in partnership with Robinson.

Timeline is a multiple graded stakes winner by Hard Spun   out of the Empire Maker mare Azorina . He was bred in Kentucky by Helen Alexander, Helen Groves, and Dorothy Matz.

A $500,000 yearling purchase by Woodford Racing at Keeneland's 2015 September Sale, the chestnut colt was sent to the barn of trainer Chad Brown. At 3, he won the 2017 Peter Pan Stakes (G3) at Belmont Park and Pegasus Stakes (G3) at Monmouth Park.

Timeline was moved to trainer Steve Asmussen in 2019 and was privately sold to Clark Brewster prior to his final start that season. He would end his career with five wins from 17 starts for earnings of $432,217.
