Keeneland has announced that millionaire Shotgun Hottie , a 5-year-old graded stakes-winning daughter of Gun Runner  , has been cataloged to Book 1 of its November Breeding Stock Sale, which will be held Nov. 5. Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, will consign Shotgun Hottie as a racing or broodmare prospect.

"Keeneland is pleased to have such a standout as Shotgun Hottie in our November Breeding Stock Sale," Keeneland vice president of sales Tony Lacy said. "She is the first millionaire by Gun Runner to be offered at public auction, and she's sure to have widespread appeal."

Campaigned by Jeff Ganje and Omar Aldabbagh, Shotgun Hottie is a multiple stakes winner who has won or placed in 12 stakes for earnings of $1.1 million while competing against top stakes company at ten race tracks across the United States.

"Shotgun Hottie has taken us on the ride of a lifetime," Ganje said. "She's all class and shows up every time she's asked and against top competition. We look forward to following her success in her next chapter."

Shotgun Hottie romped by 5 3/4 lengths when taking the Pimlico Race Course's Allaire DuPont Distaff Stakes on Black-Eyed Susan Day. The performance netted the mare a career-high 111 Equibase Speed Figure. Her other black-type victories include wins in the 2023 Molly Pitcher Stakes (G3) and the Lady's Secret Stakes along with the 2022 Ruthless Stakes as a 3-year-old. In last year's Molly Pitcher, she defeated Breeders' Cup-placed Le Da Vida  and grade 1 winner Search Results  while registering a 101 ESF.

Shotgun Hottie has finished second or third in eight stakes, including recent runner-up efforts in the Shuvee Stakes (G2) to grade 1 winner Raging Sea  and the Fleur de Lis Stakes (G2) at Churchill Downs to multiple graded stakes-winner Scylla .

"Great breeders have always sought pedigree, soundness, graded stakes talent, and class," said Taylor Made president & CEO Mark Taylor. "Shotgun Hottie delivers on all counts. We can't wait to present her at Keeneland."

Produced from the Malibu Moon mare Re Entry, the dam of three winners, Shotgun Hottie hails from the family of grade 1 winners Pure Clan  and Sky Diva ; grade 2 winner Greater Good ; and stakes winners Quick Little Miss  and Maker's Candy .

The catalog for the November Breeding Stock Sale will be available online Oct. 1.

The auction will run nine sessions from Nov. 5 through Nov. 13, with the stand-alone November Horses of Racing Age Sale the following day.
