Oklahoma-based freshman sire Euroears saw his first winner July 11 when his first starter, Eurodevilwoman, posted a two-length victory in her career debut in the fifth race at Lone Star Park .
A winner of six stakes, including the 2011 Bing Crosby (gr. I) at Del Mar, Euroears stood this year for $1,500 at JEH Stallion Station, Oklahoma Division, in Purcell. An 11-year-old son of Langfuhr , Euroears has 27 current 2-year-olds in his first crop.
Guided by jockey C.J. McMahon, Jerry Caroom's Eurodevilwoman rallied from seventh to win Saturday's 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight race for Texas-breds. Eurodevilwoman is trained by Racing Hall of Famer Jack Van Berg.
