Scottish Lassie wins the Frizette Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack
Take Charge Babe , a daughter of Take Charge Indy and a half sister to this year's Frizette Stakes (G1) winner Scottish Lassie , has been supplemented to Fasig-Tipton's The November Sale. A multiple winner herself, Take Charge Babe is cataloged as Hip 317 and will be consigned as a broodmare prospect by Paramount Sales, agent.
Take Charge Babe wins a 2023 maiden claiming race at Churchill Downs
Scottish Lassie, who broke her maiden by nine lengths in the Frizette Stakes Oct. 5, is scheduled to start in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) Nov. 1 at Del Mar. The daughter of McKinzie is trained by Jorge Abreu. Scottish Lassie earned a 95 Equibase Speed Figure for her efforts in the Frizette. She is the morning-line favorite for the Juvenile Fillies.
The Fasig-Tipton November Sale will take place Nov. 4 in Lexington at 2 p.m. ET.
