Distaff Entrant Awesome Result Among Latest Scratches

Awesome Result trains Oct. 28 at Del Mar
Several scratches were announced Nov. 2 ahead of Day 2 of the Breeders' Cup at Del Mar.
Awesome Result , the Japan-based daughter of Justify and the third choice (4-1) in the Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1) was scratched Saturday morning. No word yet on why the talented 4-year-old will not run.
Breeders' Cup horses are under tight veterinary scrutiny.
All three also-eligibles in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T) have also been scratched: Nothing Better , Charcoal , and Frost At Dawn .
The Kenny McPeek-trained Rattle N Roll , an also-eligible for the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1), and Cherie DeVaux pupil Pipeline , slated to run in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1), were others scratched Saturday morning.
With the first post time set for 10:05 a.m. PT/1:05 p.m. ET, the weather is expected to be cloudy for the first few races on the card before turning sunny in time for the first of the Breeders' Cup contests, the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1), which is race 4. Clouds could return before the final race, the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1). The expected high temperature is 67 degrees, with light wind expected.

From race 4, the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint, Pandora's Gift has been scratched.
From race 5, the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, Nothing Better, Charcoal, and Frost At Dawn have been scratched.
From race 6, the Breeders' Cup Distaff, Batucada , Miss New York , and Awesome Result have been scratched.
From race 8, the Breeders' Cup Classic, Rattle N Roll has been scratched.
From race 9, the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1T), Ylang Ylang was scratched. Ryan Moore, who had been scheduled to ride her, picks up the mount on Content , a fellow Aidan O'Brien trainee.
From race 11, the Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T), Ramatuelle and Diego Velazquez have been scratched.
From race 12, the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1), Pipeline has been scratched.
