The 90th running of the Longacres Mile headlines a 20-race stakes schedule worth $1,075,000 for Emerald Downs at the 51-day meeting from April 27 to Sept. 7, 2025.

The entire stakes schedule is consolidated over four Sundays with six stakes events on July 20 and Aug. 17 and quadruple-headers June 22 and Sept. 7.

The Northwest's most prestigious race—$125,000 Longacres Mile—anchors the Aug. 17 sextet of stakes. Billed as Championship Sunday, the day features stakes in all six divisions: 2-year-old colts & geldings, 2-year-old fillies, 3-year-old colts & geldings, 3-year-old fillies, older fillies & mares, with older horses competing in the Longacres Mile.

The older horse division begins with the $50,000 Budweiser Stakes at six furlongs June 22, followed by the $50,000 Governor's Stakes at 6 1/2 furlongs on July 20, and highlighted by the Longacres Mile four weeks later.

The schedule includes four stakes each for older horses and older fillies and mares, three stakes apiece for 3-year-old colts & geldings and 3-year-old fillies, and three stakes each for 2-year-old colts & geldings and 2-year-old fillies. Although the 2-year-olds have the same number of stakes as last year, the first events—$50,000 Angie C Stakes and $50,000 King County Express—are two weeks later than last year on July 20.

Emerald Downs' 30th season begins Sunday, April 27, and continues through Sunday, Sept. 7.
