Centaur Gaming Appointments Announced

Centaur Gaming has announced the appointments of Jahnae Erpenbach to the position of vice president and general manager of gaming for Indiana Grand Racing & Casino and Michael Facenda to vice president and general manager of gaming for Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.



Both will be responsible for all gaming related operations and departments at their respective properties and report to Jim Brown, Centaur Gaming president who is also Indiana Grand general manager.



Erpenbach and Facenda will transition into their new roles Aug. 17, pending final Indiana Gaming Commission approval.



"With this announcement we further position Centaur Gaming for continued success by elevating two top-notch executives in Jahnae and Michael and having Jim continue in his role at Centaur guiding the operations of a company with destinations in nearly every corner of Indiana," said Centaur Gaming chairman Rod Ratcliff in a statement.



Erpenbach, who most recently served as vice president and general manager of gaming at Hoosier Park in Anderson, Ind., joined Centaur Gaming's pre-opening team as Hoosier Park's director of marketing in 2007 and was promoted to vice president of marketing in 2009, prior to moving to her current position in 2011. Before joining Centaur Gaming, Erpenbach served as the executive director of marketing for Penn National Gaming's Empress Casino in Joliet, Ill.



Facenda joined Centaur Gaming as vice president of marketing at Indiana Grand in Shelbyville, Ind., in 2013 before most recently serving as vice president and assistant general manager of gaming where he aided in successfully integrating gaming and racing operations at the Shelbyville property. He is former vice president of marketing for Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek, Mich.
