OBSOnline Catalogs 24 Horses for January Sale

Ocala Breeders' Sales has cataloged 24 horses for its OBSOnline January 2025 auction taking place Jan. 23-30. The OBSOnline January sale features 2-year-olds and horses of racing age.

The catalog is currently available for viewing on the OBSOnline website and bidding will begin Jan. 23 at noon ET. Bidding will close at noon ET Jan. 30.

The OBSOnline January sale will be held in conjunction with the live January Winter Mixed Sale taking place Jan. 28.

A total of 20 sale entrants participated in the optional under tack show held at OBS Jan. 17. Consignors also have the option to bring the horses to the OBS sale grounds for viewing Jan. 27-28.

Notable entries in the OBSOnline January catalog include:

• Hip 403 (Practical Joke  —Happy Road, by Quality Road  ): This unraced 3-year-old filly, consigned by Wavertree Stables, worked three furlongs in :32.1 during the optional under tack show. She hails from the female family of grade 1 winner Bustin Stones .
• Hip 412 Moon Factor  (The Factor  —Moonlight Lady, by Malibu Moon): This 3-year-old colt is fresh off a victory at Gulfstream Park Jan. 5, when he prevailed going 5 1/2 furlongs over the all-weather track in a starter optional claiming test. Moon Factor broke his maiden over the inner turf at Colonial Downs last August.
• Hip 415 Meet Me At Marea (Thousand Words  —Rafaelini, by Bernardini ): This 3-year-old filly who descends from the female family of grade 1 winners Jack Christopher   and Street Boss  worked in :33 at the optional under tack show.
• Hip 417 (Honor Code —Lili's Song, by Liam's Map  ): This 3-year-old filly consigned by Wavertree Stables worked in :33 during the optional under tack show. Her dam Lili's Song is a half sister to Volatiled , most recently second in the Juvenile Fillies Sprint Stakes at Gulfstream Park Nov. 16.

Each horse will have a walking video and radiographs available for viewing.
