Saratoga is indeed the summer place to be, and lucky for me I get to work and live in Spa City for basically the whole meet (heading to Monmouth Park for the Haskell). But for those of you who won't be here daily and don't want to miss a beat of the action, fear not – I’ve compiled a list of some of the top racing twitter people to follow for the full lowdown all meet long.
@ABRLive
America's Best Racing - We're here to cover the WHOLE sport - horses, fashion, betting, food, fun and everything in between!
@PenelopePMiller
Penelope Miller - Penelope is the ABR social media extraordinaire and she also has an awesome personal account that's not to be missed - gorgeous pictures, funny tweets and always a cute animal or five to see.
@TeamABRLive
Myself and my Northeast region colleague, Dan Tordjman, are in Saratoga all meet long and will do our best to keep you fully on the loop with both our ambassador-run account and our personal accounts.
Dan is typically the first person to tweet something out, tweets some of the best pictures and is definitely worth a follow for his gambling tips alone! (@itsmevictoriag & @DanonymousMan)
@TheNYRA
The New York Racing Association - The account for all things Saratoga, Belmont and Aqueduct!
@larrycollmus
Larry Collmus - Track announcer for NYRA (plus Gulfstream's winter meet and NBC's Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup) will be calling his first summer at the Spa.
@BreedersCup
Breeders' Cup - This year's Breeders' Cup World Championships will take place at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky. on October 30 and 31. Six of the big races at Saratoga (Whitney Stakes, Forego Handicap, Sword Dancer Invitational Stakes, Ballerina Stakes, Personal Ensign Handicap and Spinaway Stakes) are "Win and You're In" races – the winners of each will receive automatic berths into their respective Breeders' Cup races. A handful of the tweeting jockeys you can expect to see riding at the Spa this summer:

Barbara Livingston is the chief photographer for the Daily Racing Form and a two-time Eclipse Award-winning photographer. She is amazing!
@Bloodhorse and @BH_CNovak, @BH_AEberhardt, @BH_Fangst, @BH_EMitchell, @SteveHaskin
The Blood-Horse team will cover all the news and happenings throughout the Saratoga meet. From workout reports and interviews with trainers and owners to photos and video, Blood-Horse tweets it all.
@acacia_courtney
Acacia Courtney will be covering Saratoga's big days as a correspondent for HRRN and I'm sure we'll see a few ABR videos and blogs from her in the coming weeks.
@BillyBlake22
Billy Blake is an up and comer that is spending his summer reporting for The Saratoga Special before moving out to California to work in horse racing production. Around town:
@TheBrookTavern
Looking for a delicious meal just steps away from the track? The Brook Tavern is just the place -- small plates, tacos, entrees and more!
@HattiesChicken
Hattie's Restaurant is an institution, and darn do they make finger-lickin' good fried chicken (and other yummy Southern and Louisiana cuisine).
@saratogaseen
The Saratoga Blog - A great account to follow for an overview of the news, views and happenings from Saratoga Springs and Saratoga County.
@MagicofSPAC
SPAC, or the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, is one of my favorite places to see a performance - it's an incredible outdoor venue inside Saratoga State Park and you can catch concerts, the ballet, orchestra performances and more all summer long - perfect way to spend one of the gorgeous summer nights.
