Woodbine Oaks Presented by Budweiser runner-up London Tower will try to nail down the third stakes win of her career on Wednesday, July 29 at Woodbine in the $125,000 Eternal Search Stakes.
Favored in the Woodbine Oaks, Steven Owens homebred London Tower finished second to Academic in that 1 1/8-mile race on the Polytrack. The 3-year-old daughter of Head Chopper enters off a third-place finish in the Bison City Stakes July 12 at the Canada oval, where she was just a neck behind winner Brooklynsway.
Wednesday's field of 10 3-year-old fillies by Ontario-based sires also includes Gary Barber's Galina Point, who enters the 1 1/16-mile Eternal Search off a runner-up finish in the Bison City, where she just edged London Tower.
