France Galop, Goffs Announce Partnership

Goffs and France Galop are pleased to announce a new partnership that will see France Galop become an official partner for the 2025 Goffs London Sale. As part of the partnership, Goffs will sponsor the prestigious Group 2 Prix Robert Papin at Chantilly on Sunday 20 July, further strengthening ties between Goffs and the French racing and bloodstock community.

French interest at the Goffs London Sale has been significant in recent years, most notably last year when Sparkling Plenty, fresh from winning the Group 1 Prix de Diane, topped the sale when selling to Al Shaqab for £5 million. Fellow French-trained star Lazzat was also offered at the 2024 London Sale, before winning the Group 1 ARC Prix Maurice de Gheest, highlighting the calibre of French horses catalogued at the Goffs London Sale and the growing cross-Channel engagement.

The Prix Robert Papin has a long-established reputation for producing high-class juveniles and Goffs graduates have enjoyed notable success in the race, winning six of the last thirteen renewals. Atomic Force (2021), A'Ali (2019), Tis Marvellous (2016), Gutaifan (2015), Kool Kompany (2014) and Reckless Abandon (2012) are all on the race's roll of honour.
