Quick Arrest Following Delaware Park Shooting

One man was shot and another arrested following a shooting on the backstretch at Delaware Park the morning of July 29, according to reports.
The News Journal reports that the shooting was reported at 8:55 a.m. ET Wednesday in the stable area and police told the paper that the injured man was taken to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del.
Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission executive director John Wayne confirmed with Blood-Horse that a shooting took place on the backstretch, but would not comment further while police gathered information on the case.
