HRRN On-Site for Haskell, Saratoga Stakes

Horse Racing Radio Network has announced it will provide live coverage of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah's return to competition in the $1.75 million William Hill Haskell Invitational (gr. I) at Monmouth Park Aug. 2.



In addition to the Haskell, a Breeders' Cup Challenge Series "Win & You're In" race for the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), HRRN will provide live coverage Aug. 1, from Saratoga Race Course, featuring the Vanderbilt (gr. I), Bowling Green Handicap (gr. IIT), and Jim Dandy (gr. II).



Saturday's broadcast airs from 4:30-6:30 p.m. ET on Sirius channel 93 and select HRRN affiliates, and will be available via live streaming on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. Sunday's Haskell coverage can be heard from 4-6 p.m. on HRRN affiliates across the country and on the network's website.



HRRN's Mike Penna will anchor the coverage, along with analysts Jude Feld and Anthony Stabile. Acacia Courtney will provide paddock commentary and interviews, with NYRA announcer Larry Collmus providing the call of the Saratoga races. Monmouth announcer Frank Mirahmadi will have the call of the Haskell.



In addition to the live race coverage, HRRN will host "The Equine Forum" live from Saratoga from 8-10 a.m. Saturday. "The Equine Forum" airs nationwide on Sirius 92/XM 92, along with terrestrial affiliates across the country, and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website.
