The catalog for the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Yearlings Sale was released July 11, with 304 entries cataloged. The sale will be held Aug. 10-11 in the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The Aug. 10 session will begin at 7 p.m. ET, and the Monday session will begin at noon.
"The New York-Bred Yearlings sale annually offers the highest concentration of quality New York-breds of any Thoroughbred auction," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. "It's the go-to source for those looking to take advantage of the lucrative New York-bred racing program."
An exciting new development for the New York-bred program is that beginning in 2026, New York-breds will run for equal purse money on the New York Racing Association circuit as open-company horses.
"All yearlings offered in this catalog will compete for the same purse money as open-company horses on the NYRA circuit next year, providing buyers even more incentive to participate in this year's sale," Browning added. "There has never been a better time to own a New York-bred."
This year's catalog cover features 2023 New York-Bred Yearling sale graduate Mo Plex , recent winner of the Ohio Derby (G3) as well as last year's Sanford Stakes (G3) at Saratoga Race Course. Also pictured are sale graduates Pandagate and With the Angels , respectively the 2024 New York-bred champion 3-year-old male and 2024 New York-bred champion 2-year-old filly.
The catalog may now be viewed online and will also be available in the Equineline sales catalog app. Print catalogs are also now available.
