Repole Stable and Grandview went to $1.4 million to secure Hip 150, a son of Not This Time out of the Ghostzapper mare Mariah's Princess during the final session of The Saratoga Sale, Fasig-Tipton's select yearling sale, Aug. 5.
The colt was the second Not This Time colt Repole purchased—he also bought Hip 42, a colt out of Ava's Kitten during the first session of the Saratoga Sale for $400,000.
Hip 150 was bred in Kentucky by Rigney Racing, and consigned by Denali Stud, agent.
The dynamic duo of Coolmore and White Birch Farm teamed up again to secure Hip 123, a colt by perennial leading sire Into Mischief out of grade 1 winner It Tiz Well for $1.25 million.
It Tiz Well earned more than $1 million during her career, only finishing off the board once. The colt was consigned by Denali Stud for breeders Tommy Town Thoroughbreds.
