Fashion at the Races Looking for Arlington Million’s Best Dressed
Chicago’s most popular race day is upon us and that means we better have our fashion A-Game on! Gear up for the Arlington Million Fashion Contest this Saturday, August 15 at Arlington Park.
Fashion at the Races is hosting its second Fashion Contest at the Arlington Million where well dressed ladies of all ages will strut their stuff in front of three celebrity judges and a large crowd in hopes of winning the grand prize.
Bri Mott and her stylish team from Fashion at the Races will source well-dressed ladies at Arlington Park to enter the fashion competition, which will begin at 1:25 p.m. right by the paddock and the Champagne tent. The contest will be capped at 80 contestants as each participant is gifted a goodie-bag full of fun gifts from Valor Ladies.
From 80 ladies, the three judges will have the tough job of picking 20 finalists. These finalists will be invited to enjoy a toast of bubbly in the Champagne tent. From the 20 finalists, one winner will be chosen along with a first and second runner up.
The winner will be announced in the winner’s circle in front of the race day crowd of 34,000-plus people and given a sash and bouquet of flowers along with the grand prize of a $500 giftcard to Macy’s!

Meet the Judges
Rachel Jensen of Chicago Chic is Windy City’s glamour-obsessed vintage inspired style blogger. She combines timeless glamour and the hourglass-accentuating feminine form with her love of big city living. Her editorial-quality projects display a backdrop of grand Chicago landmarks, historic gems, and the intricate grand city that she loves. She wears a corset daily, and truly lives out her passion for embracing classic beauty among a generation of easy comfort and media trends. She spends her free time soaking in old movies and dining in glamorous spots around Chicago.
Bri Mott is Fashion at the Races’ CEO and Founder. She has traveled the world to check out the best (and worst) racing fashion. She has put together fashion competitions to give the female patrons at racetracks a chance to strut their stuff and award them for dressing up. No matter if your outfit is worth thousands or was flea-market find, it’s all about putting together a great outfit for the horse races and being confident in it. Bri Mott works in the horse racing industry not only on the fashion side but on the racing side as well with Team Valor International. Bringing together the perfect combination of horses and fashion is the very reason she is the CEO.
Megan Jones, the CEO of Valor Ladies, will be up to bat again in helping us pick out the Most Fashionable Lady on track at the Arlington Million. Megan started Valor Ladies, which is a women’s only horse racing syndicate. With three amazing fillies in the stable, these ladies have owned stakes winning horses and have had blast doing so. If you have ever thought about owning racehorses, be sure to meet Megan at the Arlington Million and ask some questions! Valor Ladies is the sister company to the International stable, Team Valor. Remember Animal Kingdom? He was a Team Valor horse. Megan has traveled all over the world looking at horses to purchase, race, and syndicate for a group of fabulous ladies. In the process, she gets to witness all the fashion worn to the races and her expertise shows.
