That's a Stretch First Winner for Exhi

First-time starter That's a Stretch raced in midpack early before sweeping to the lead at the eighth pole and winning the fifth race at Woodbine Aug. 16 to become the first winner for multiple graded- stakes winner Exhi  .
 
An 8-year-old son of Maria's Mon, Exhi stood in 2015 for a $3,500 (Canadian) fee at Park Stud in Ontario. There are 24 foals in his first crop.
 
Exhi is out of the stakes-winning Polish Numbers mare Soldera, whose second dam is Canadian Horse of the Year Fanfreluche, dam of Canadian champions L'Enjoleur, La Voyageuse, and Medaille d'Or. He compiled at 6-4-2 career line from 16 starts that includes victories in the 2010 Coolmore Lexington Stakes (gr. II) and 2011 Ben Ali Stakes (gr. III) as well as 2010 stakes wins in Canada in the Marine Stakes and Victoria Park Stakes. He amassed a lifetime bankroll of $807,917.
 
That's a Stretch won by three-quarters of length and was timed in :58.41 in the five-furlong maiden special weight race for Ontario-bred 2-year-olds. Ralph Biamonte trains the gelding for C. E. C. Farms. He was bred by John Carey and George Bigliardi from the winning Bold Executive mare Victoria Princess.
