Horseplayers will have plenty to chase on Sunday's Closing Day at Ellis Park Racing & Gaming, highlighted by a $172,617 mandatory payout in the 20-cent Dade Park 6 Jackpot.

Sunday's nine-race card begins at 11:50 a.m. (all times Central), with the Dade Park 6 starting in Race 4 at 1:16 p.m.

The Dade Park 6 challenges bettors to pick the winners of the final six races on the program. The wager carries a horseplayer-friendly 15% takeout.

The sequence begins with a $10,000 claiming race for fillies and mares, followed by an oversubscribed maiden special weight on turf that drew 12 2-year-old fillies plus one also-eligible. A first-level allowance sprint for seven fillies and mares is next, before 11 maiden 2-year-olds stretch out to a mile in Race 7. The spotlight falls on Race 8, the $150,000 Ellis Park Turf Stakes, where multiple stakes winner Everland has been installed as the 7-5 morning-line favorite. The action wraps up in Race 9 with a wide-open maiden claiming event for 3-year-old fillies.
