Arqana reports group 2 winner Ridari was privately purchased by John Stewart's Resolute Racing following the Arqana Arc Sale Oct. 4. Offered as Lot 56 from the Aga Khan Studs consignment, Ridari exchanged hands for €950,000 (US$1,099,330).
Ridari, a winner of Longchamp's Prix Daniel Wildenstein (G2) on the afternoon before the Arc Sale, is to be conditioned by U.S.-based trainer Miguel Clement. The Ridari sale was completed with the assistance of Clement's uncle, French trainer Nicolas Clement.
Bred and raced by Aga Khan Studs, the 3-year-old son of Churchill is out of the group 1-winning Motivator mare Ridasiyna, who has produced three winners.
In addition to the Prix Daniel Wildenstein, Ridari captured the Prix de Fontainebleau (G3) at Longchamp in April. Raced solely in France to date, he has won 3 of his 8 starts.
