Nysos  and stablemate Citizen Bull   each worked six furlongs at Santa Anita Park for trainer Bob Baffert Oct. 12, and reigning champion sprinter Straight No Chaser   returned to the tab after being the beaten favorite in the Sept. 28 Santa Anita Sprint Championship (G2).

Nysos, working for the first time since Sept. 29, was clocked in 1:11 1/5 to earn the bullet work for the distance from four runners. Afterwards, Baffert confirmed Nysos was on track for the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) Nov. 1 at Del Mar.

"Very happy with the work," Baffert said.

Nysos, a 4-year-old colt by Nyquist  , most recently won the July 26 San Diego Handicap (G2) going 1 1/16 miles at Del Mar. He was then scratched the morning of the Aug. 30 Pacific Classic (G1) with a hind foot issue.

Citizen Bull was timed in 1:11 4/5. Last year's champion 2-year-old male is also a candidate for the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.
