

A number of stallion farms plan open houses for the fall and winter of 2025. BloodHorse updates this story as open house information is announced.
Mill Ridge Farm will open its gates at 2800 Bowman Mill Road, to host a Stallion Open House each day this week from Wednesday, Nov. 5, through Friday, Nov. 7, between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., and serve up rum cake. The farm will showcase Oscar Performance, Aloha West, and Casa Creed.
Taylor Made Stallions will hold its annual Stallion Open Houses during the November sales from Nov. 3-12. Hours for the Open House will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day, and stallions will be available in the afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. by appointment.
The farm is offering a giveaway for breeders this year. Anyone who attends the Open Houses and fills out a roster card will automatically be entered in a drawing for a $250 Malone's gift card (no purchase required). The giveaway is exclusively tied to the November sales, and the winner will be drawn after the Keeneland November Sale concludes.
Walmac Farm will show its stallions beginning Nov. 4 and through the end of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day. WinStar Farm will host its annual Open House for breeders each day from Nov. 4-12, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the farm's stallion complex on Paynes Mill Road in Versailles. Breeders are welcome without an appointment during the designated times to view the WinStar roster for the 2026 breeding season. The Open House events will include lite fare and refreshments for breeders in attendance.
Breakway Farm will host an open house and stallion showcase from 10 a.m.-noon, Nov. 1 at its farm at 10887 Racing Lane, Dillsboro, Ind.
