HRRN to Provide Live Coverage of Travers Card

Horse Racing Radio Network will provide exclusive live coverage of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah's return attempt to win the 146th Travers Stakes (gr. I) Aug. 29 at Saratoga Race Course.

HRRN's coverage, from 3-6 p.m., also includes the other grade I races on the card: Ballerina, King's Bishop, Priority One Jets Forego, and Sword Dancer with the Personal Ensign being aired on delay.



The coverage can be heard throughout North America on SiriusXM channel 93 as well as on terrestrial affiliates across the country with live internet streaming provided on the HRRN website. Listeners can also access the live stream on smart phones and tablets.



HRRN begins its Travers day programming with the weekly talk show "The Equine Forum," hosted live from Saratoga from 8-10 a.m. ET.

HRRN president Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analysts Jude Feld and Anthony Stabile. Acacia Courtney will provide paddock commentary and interviews with New York Racing Association announcer Larry Collmus providing the call of the races.
