Turfway Park Cancels Racing Dec. 13 Due to Winter Storm

With a Winter Storm Warning and extreme cold and snow in the forecast, officials at Turfway Park have canceled racing for the evening of Dec. 13. According to the National Weather Service, more than 4 inches of snow is expected to fall in the Florence, Ky. region from the afternoon into the evening.
The Saturday evening card was to have featured the Turfway Park Synthetic Championships—four stakes worth $250,000 apiece.
