Racing at Charles Town
Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has canceled its Thursday card because of wind chills in the single digits.
Track and state racing officials met Thursday morning with members of the jockey colony and made the decision to cancel racing in the interest of human and equine safety.
Live racing is slated to resume Friday at its usual first post time of 7 p.m ET.
