After winning his first two starts, including a half-length score in the Colin Stakes July 25 at Woodbine, Tucci Stables' Riker will try to make it three straight Sept. 5, when he faces an expected four other 2-year-olds in the $125,000 Swynford Stakes on the Polytrack at Woodbine.
Trained by Nicholas Gonzalez, Riker won his first two starts going six furlongs on the Woodbine Polytrack, taking his maiden debut July 5 before the son of Include won the Colin. He'll stretch out to seven furlongs Saturday under regular rider Jessie Campbell.
John Oxley's Tizzarunner enters off a victory at the seven-furlong distance in his second effort, an Aug. 16 maiden race. Tizzarunner, by Tizway , finished third to Riker in the July 25 debut by both horses.
