Heading into the June 6 Belmont Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course, Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Golden Tempo  maintained his No. 1 spot in the latest National Thoroughbred Racing Association's Top 3-Year-old Poll released June 2.

The son of Curlin   has not raced since May 2 when he went from last to first to win the first leg of the Triple Crown. He received 19 first-place votes and 279 total.

Renegade , who also will be making his first start in five weeks and who ran second to Golden Tempo in the Run for the Roses, held the No. 2 spot with eight first-place votes and 265 overall.

Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Napoleon Solo  remained in third position with two first-place votes and 189 total.

The only change in the top 10 was Chief Wallabee  moving into fourth ahead of Crude Velocity  who dropped to fifth.

The accompanying Top Thoroughbred Poll—which isn't limited to 3-year-olds and is meant to mirror the leading competition for Horse of the Year while running through the conclusion of the Breeders' Cup in the fall—saw one change from a week ago.

Magnitude  (264 total votes,16 first-place votes) regained the top spot from White Abarrio  (262, 11). Sovereignty  picked up the other first-place vote and held the third position with 214 overall votes.
