Delaware Park Cancels July 2-3 Cards Due to Heat

Racing at Delaware Park
Due to the extreme heat index forecast for the region this week, the Delaware Park live racing schedule has been adjusted as follows:
Wednesday, July 1
1st race post time -- 11:00 a.m.
2nd race post time -- 11:30 a.m.
3rd race post time -- 12:00 p.m. -- ($5,048.65 pick 5 carryover)
4th race post time -- 12:30 p.m.
5th race post time -- 1:00 p.m.
6th race post time -- 1:30 p.m.
7th race post time -- 2:00 p.m.
8th race post time -- 2:30 p.m.
9th race post time -- 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 have been cancelled.
On Saturday, July 4, the live racing card will be reduced to six races with the following post times:
1st race post time -- 10:00 a.m.
2nd race post time -- 10:30 a.m.
3rd race post time -- 11:00 a.m.
4th race post time -- 11:30 a.m.
5th race post time -- 12:30 p.m.
6th race post time -- 1:30 p.m.
The three exhibition Exotic Animal Races scheduled for Saturday, July 4 will remain as planned and will be run at 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
