America’s Best Racing and BetAmerica team up to provide horseplayers with their best bets of the weekend in a regular feature blog that will run on Fridays.
Each week, one of our crack handicappers - Jose Contreras, Dan Tordjman, Victoria Garofalo, Mike Johnson or Vince Mathews – will provide at least one “Best Bet” of the weekend, ideal for a win bet. The post also will include some combination of additional bets for the weekend.
For some posts, our handicappers will try to identify a longshot play of the weekend, a nice opportunity to swing for the fences on a win bet or to take a shot with a show bet.
Our handicappers also will look for strong exacta plays for the weekend or occasionally try to spot a nice opportunity for other wagers.
Place your bets at BetAmerica, which prides itself on outstanding customer service combined with the safety and security of wagering with a reputable advance-deposit wagering platform. Place your bets and you can walk away with some extra cash in your pocket.

EXACTA BOX
Woodbine, Race 7, $200,000 Natalma Stakes, 4:02 p.m. ET
#3 Most Inspiring: She made her debut a winning one when taking a six-furlong race back in July by 3 1/4 lengths. She’s been given some time to recover, and I think she’s going to run a big race at this one-mile distance.
#6 Silky Girl: She ran a decent fourth in her career debut on the dirt and then returned with a victory when switching to the turf at Saratoga Race Course. She’s cutting back in distance, and I expect her to be close to the leaders early on.
#7 Pulled the Goalie: This filly comes off a second-place finish at a slightly shorter distance. She’s adding blinkers, and I expect her to be closer to the leaders this time around.
#11 She’ll Do It: She made her debut a winning one when pulling away to a clear victory at Woodbine on the synthetic main track on Aug. 8. She’s trying the turf for the first time, but she looked too good in her debut to not use her.
BEST BET/WIN BET
Los Alamitos Race Course, Race 9, 8:58 p.m. ET
#6 Blue Cilantro: She chased a solid pace before weakening to fourth in her last start at Del Mar. Blue Cilantro is adding blinkers and making only her third lifetime start. Her sire, Square Eddie, is having a tremendous year, and I think we have not seen the best of this filly.

BEST BET/WIN BET
Belmont Park, Race 8, $100,000 Allied Forces Stakes, 4:46 p.m. ET
#5 Conquest Tsunami: This 3-year-old colt was last seen finishing last in the Delta Downs Jackpot Stakes in November. He’s been given plenty of time off to regroup and has a steady set of workouts leading up to this race. He’s got enough speed to establish a good position and has already proven that he likes the turf. His morning-line odds are appealing at 12-to-1.
BEST BET/WIN BET
Los Alamitos Race Course, Race 2, 5:28 p.m. ET
#7 Can Can Babe: She dueled for the lead from the inside post at Del Mar in a tougher spot and finished sixth of eight. She’s now switching to the outside post and making her second start for this trainer. Her early speed should have her sitting in a good spot — either on the lead or tracking the pacesetters.
