Dothraki Queen will try for a victory at the highest level Oct. 2 in the Darley Alcibiades Stakes.

After rallying from seventh to win her stakes debut in the Pocahontas Stakes (gr. II) Sept. 12 at Churchill Downs, Dothraki Queen will try for a victory at the highest level Oct. 2 in the $400,000 Darley Alcibiades Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland.

Magdalena Racing's undefeated Dothraki Queen is one of two graded stakes winners among 11 expected starters in the 1 1/16-mile race for 2-year-old fillies and the daughter of Pure Prize defeated the other graded winner entered in the Pocahontas, Just Wicked.

Dothraki Queen won her maiden debut on the turf July 12 at Ellis Park, turning heads with a seven-length romp after rallying from sixth. Moved to dirt and into stakes company by trainer Ken McPeek, the filly circled the field in the far turn to win the 1 1/16-mile Pocahontas.

She'll try for a win at a third Kentucky track in as many starts in the Alcibiades, a Breeders' Cup Challenge "Win and You're In" race to the 14 Hands Winery Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) to be run Oct. 31 at Keeneland. Dothraki Queen's Pocahontas win already landed her a "Win and You're In" spot in the Juvenile Fillies.

McPeek will be looking for his fourth Alcibiades victory after taking the race in 2000 with She's a Devil Due, 2001 with Take Charge Lady, and 2008 with Dream Empress.

In the Pocahontas Dothraki Queen defeated 1-2 favorite Just Wicked, a daughter of Tapit   who entered off a clear victory in the 6 1/2-furlong Adirondack Stakes (gr. II) Aug. 15 at Saratoga Race Course.

In her first try at two turns, Winchell Thoroughbreds' Just Wicked bid five wide into the stretch but flattened and finished fourth. Trained by Steve Asmussen, Just Wicked will break from the outside in Friday's race.

Some of the other accomplished fillies in the Alcibiades include Reddam Racing's Gomo, a grade II-placed daughter of freshman sire Uncle Mo  ; Marquee Miss, who won a stakes in her career debut at Arlington International Racecourse; and Dream Dance, who was placed second in the Pocahontas.
